Small acts, done together, save lives.
We're a student-led chapter of the American Red Cross movement — running blood drives, teaching preparedness, and showing up for our community, one project at a time.
Figures above are placeholders — swap in your chapter's real numbers.
Our Mission
Why the club exists, in one sentence.
The Mountain View High School Red Cross Club empowers students to prevent and alleviate human suffering in our school and community — through humanitarian service, health education, and disaster preparedness, guided by the Red Cross principles of humanity, impartiality, and volunteerism.
What We Do
Our work runs across four pillars — every project ties back to one of them.
Blood Drives
We partner with the American Red Cross to host on-campus blood drives, recruit donors, and staff registration and canteen tables.
Disaster Preparedness
Home fire safety campaigns, "Pillowcase Project" workshops, and helping families build emergency plans and go-kits.
First Aid & CPR
Peer-led trainings and certification sign-ups so students know what to do in an emergency before help arrives.
Community Service
Volunteering at shelters, food banks, and senior centers — plus card-writing and care-package drives throughout the year.
Health Education
Awareness campaigns on hydration, mental health, and seasonal wellness, run in the halls and on social media.
Fundraising
Bake sales, spirit nights, and donation drives that fund supplies and support Red Cross relief efforts.
Meet the Board
